ErkDerk.com was started out just as an experiment. As the site grew, Chad ideas grew, too. Chad quickly found out that these other sites, such as joke  sites, were a breeding ground for profanity, negativity, and just outright mean-spirited conversations between members. There were several discussions about a kid-friendly joke site where kids were free to submit their own jokes, pics, and most importantly, be encouraged to use their imagination and creativity to make an awesome joke.

The staff at ErkDerk.com consists of parents and grandparents and concerned indivduals. Our main goal in creating ErkDerk.com was to provide a safe place for kids to be creative online. Our staff is constantly monitoring  joke submissions. This creates a safe, positive environment where kids can feel free to be creative and share their ideas.
